Barry Jones, minister for the Ninth & Elm Church of
Christ, is 45 years old, husband of Kathy Jones, and father to John (12) and Thomas (8).
He has been a pulpit minister for 17 years and has earned degrees in Bible,
Psychology, Theology, and Ministry. His hobbies include woodworking, sports and the
American Civil War. Barry is the featured speaker for the Gloryland Way radio
program presented by the Ninth & Elm Church of Christ Sunday Morning at 9:00 am on
KOGT 1600 am.

Wiseman is a 12-year veteran of ministry, most of which has been dedicated to
full-time youth ministry. Barry grew up near Lubbock, TX, and attended Abilene
Christian University where he received a BA in Music. It was there he met his wife,
Marsha, and they were married in December 1986, while Barry was teaching in a Christian
School in Campbell, CA, as a music and Bible teacher. After two years of teaching,
Barry felt the call to full-time ministry, and he and Marsha went back to Lubbock, TX,
where Barry attended what is now called the Sunset International Biblical Institute.
Barry has served congregations in Woodward, OK; Archer City, TX; and Liberty, TX before
coming to Orange to work with 9th and Elm in August 2000. Barry and Marsha have 3
children, Kaytlin, Matthew, and Elisa.
