One Great Hour of Worship at 10:30

Worship Service will be in the Praise Center with Dr. Richard Burnham, District Superintendent, preaching, as we attribute to God the glory for this milestone in our Spiritual Journey.  Following the worship service, the building will be open for your inspection before, during and after we serve the first covered-dish luncheon in the new facility.  Don’t miss this historic very first worship service and meal in our new FUMC Praise Center.

The membership is eagerly awaiting the opening of our new Praise Center later this spring. We have been watching for more than a year now as the impressive edifice has taken shape. The architects designed the building to reflect the style of the church's 1921 Sanctuary and most agree that the reflection is a triumphant blend of the best of classic construction and modern details.

Words of Appreciation

We would like to express our deep appreciation to Danielle Heil for her years of excellent service to our church.  Danielle’s can-do attitude and super efficiency have been a blessing to our church.  Thank you Danielle.

Family Productions

Family Production may be the most innovative ministry the church has done for families in years.  We have had a wonderful response since the first production in September and believe it will continue to improve with each performance.

Pastor Terry is moving for Risk-Taking Missions

The time has come to accept a new ministry assignment.  I will be leaving my appointment here at FUMC Orange to begin a new appointment in a new conference.

Donna and I will be accepting new appointments in the West Texas Conference.  We will be pastors in the Lubbock, Texas area.  There are three churches, Idalou, Crosbyton, and Ralls, which we will serve together in a cooperative ministry.  One of our church’s core principles is to engage in “risk-taking missions.”  While we will not be in a foreign mission, this will be a new world of ministry possibilities for us.  This is an exciting ministry challenge we feel led to accept.

Of course, the down side is saying goodbye to all our friends and church family here.  I have been honored to be your Associate Pastor for the past five years.  There are experiences and memories I will never forget.

Thank you so much for your prayers, support, and ministry to my family and me. FUMC Orange has an important and exciting ministry future of its own.  We will keep you all in our prayers.
