Baptisms

"Through the Sacrament of Baptism we are initiated into Christ's holy church, are incorporated into God's mighty acts of salvation and given new birth through water and the Spirit. All this is God's gift, offered to us without price." (The United Methodist Hymnal, 1989)

We practice both infant and adult baptism. We baptize infants because "Our Lord has expressly given little children a place among the people of God, which holy privilege must not be denied them. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, how he said, 'Let the children come to me, do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God.'" (Matthew 19:14)

2008

Tyler Grace Rion was baptized on March 30^th at the 11:00am service. Parents are Ashley & Joe Rion and very proud great-great aunt is Rushia Mae Cooper. Tyler was born on October 27, 2007. (picture not available)

Dara Kay Grooms was baptized at the 11:00AM Service on March 16th. Proud parents are Derek & Misty Grooms, proud cousins are Dyanna, DaeLeigh, Dalayna, Dawson, and Darian Sandlin, proud aunt is Dana Sandlin, proud uncles are David Sandlin and Daniel Grooms, and proud grandparents are Joellen & Don Grooms.

2007

Bryce Bartlett Williams was baptized at the 10:30 service on December 23. Mother is Jennifer Williams and proud grandparents are Ginger & Bart Williams. (picture not available)

Abigail Lanai Martin was baptized on December 9 during the 10:30 worship service. Proud parents are Kimberly and Dan Martin and very proud grandparents are Kathy & Dan Barclay (picture not available)

Darian Claire Sandlin was baptized at the 9:00AM Service on November 12th. Proud parents are David & Dana Sandlin, proud siblings are Dyanna, DaeLeigh, Dalayna, and Dawson Sandlin, proud uncles are Daniel & Derek Grooms, and proud grandparents are Joellen & Don Grooms.
