Davie Thompson (L), Betty Merchant (R) Prepare for the Mother, Daughter and Friends Dinner hosted by the United Methodist Women of First UMC on April 24, 2008.

Mother, Daughters and Friends were treated to an evening with J Scott Hastey who entertained and amazed with his fascinating creations at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24 at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The program followed the fun and fellowship highlighted by an evening meal of roasted pork tenderloin, vegetables, salad and dessert catered by Old Orange Café’. A candle lighting ceremony in memory of, or honoring, the lives of women who have played, or currently play, a special role in the lives of others was a part of the evening event.Tickets were $17 per person.
For the safety of our children, all adults that work with children or youth are Safe Sanctuary trained and must pass a background check For more information about the many other opportunities we offer, contact our Youth Director at your convenience.
